Not noted on the slab, this is a BB-105, B-23, with a rarity of R1. The coin itself is quite striking. Out of the 335 graded 1798 Large Eagles, only 34 carry CAC approval, and they are quite harsh on this series. The coin exhibits a strong strike, along with solid surfaces, characterized by a pleasant steel gray color that is accentuated by the high points of the design.
