My favorite uncle was a race car nut!  He had the same 12 tickets for the Indy 500 for 50+ years, the same 48 seats for the Daytona 500 from when they first moved off the sand (over 50+ years) and was at every other track from the Poconos to Talladega. He even got to work in the pit crew for his idol Mario Andretti once during time trials at the Indy 500.  He left me all of his miscellaneous magazines, pins, hats, programs, etc. and I'd like to see them get into the hands of collectors that will appreciate them.  So please follow as I'll be posting LOTS more!!
For sale here are 11 issues of the Indianapolis News 500-Mile Race Record Book. This includes issues from 1975, 1982, 1985(2), 1986, 1987(2), 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991.  They are in very good shape and have been safely packed in a box for over 20 years.
